The Computer Science society Parikalan has six clubs in it :
All these clubs have been posting on social media weekly on various technical topics. Research Club has groups working in IOT and research in Data science and deep learning field. CODEBOTS does member workshops on Competitive programming. NetWeavers do member workshops for web design and development.
The society organized numerous intra college events during the academic year 2021-22:
The society conducted a 5-Day Workshop on Data Science in Collaboration with Teenage Coder from 24th January, 2022 to 28th January, 2022. The workshop saw 410 registrations from many renowned academic institutions from across the country and around 165 participants secured a Certificate of Participation (after fulfilling the criteria of attendance). The workshop was a Live Stream on YouTube. Based on participants’ performance in the assignments, Teenage Coders provided a 100% scholarship to the best participant, 95% scholarship to 4 participants and 90% scholarship to 10 participants; this scholarship is for the Teenage Coders Master Program.
The annual technical festival “Xenium’22” was held on 8th April 2022. The program was held in online mode with four interesting technical activities with a total of 109 registrations. The Theme for all the events conducted this year was, “75 Years of Independence - Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
