• Ms.Jasvinder Goswami is an Associate Professor and has been teaching various courses during the three decades she has been in the college.
• An MA and MPhil in Mathematical Statistics, she was awarded the University of Delhi Gold Medals for being the best candidate in M.A./M.Sc. and B.A.(Hons)/B.Sc.(Hons) examinations.
• She has keen interest in the areas of Probability distributions; Statistical Inference; Survey Sampling; Time series analysis; besides Applied Statistics, in general.

I've taught a range of undergraduate courses to the students of Statistics (Honours) and Mathematical Sciences (General/Program), covering Sample Survey; Estimation Theory; Hypothesis Testing; Non-parametric Statistics; Time Series Analysis; and Applied Statistics including Index Numbers, Statistical Quality Control, Vital Statistics and Demography, Statistics in psychology and Education. My approach emphasizes the practical application of theoretical concepts, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I have played a pivotal role in diverse administrative functions, overseeing undergraduate admissions in Statistics, and contributing to the Apex committee, Canteen Committee, etc. I actively participated in the University of Delhi Examinations paper setting and Syllabus Revision Committees, serving as both Convenor and Member. Additionally, I was a member of the University of Delhi Committee of Courses in Statistics.
